Looking for a Villarreal v Bayern Munich live stream? We've got you covered.

Villarreal are eyeing another major scalp when Bayern Munich visit El Madrigal in the Champions League quarter-final first leg on Wednesday.

The Spaniards produced the shock of the last 16 by knocking out Juventus with a stunning 3-0 second leg win in Turin that capped a 4-1 aggregate victory.

However, getting a result against Bayern is a more formidable task, as Salzburg found out in the last-16 when they lost 8-2 on aggregate to the German giants.

Reigning Europa League champions Villarreal don’t come into the tie in particularly encouraging form, either.

They fell to a 2-0 defeat away to Levante on Saturday in La Liga, their third league defeat in the last four games, leaving the Yellow Submarine seventh in the standings.

Bayern, on the other hand, are unbeaten in their last eight matches in all competitions and warmed up for their trip to Spain by beating Freiburg 4-1.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side are now nine points clear on top of the Bundesliga table, but they would love nothing more than to claim a seventh European crown.

Kick-off is at 8pm GMT and the game is being shown live on BT Sport 3  in the UK.

Use a VPN to watch a Villarreal v Bayern Munich live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal stream that decides to buffer at the worst possible moment. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:
