Wales v Estonia live stream, Sky Sports, Wednesday 8 September, 7:45pm BST

Wales will be looking to keep their World Cup qualifying campaign on track when they host Estonia on Wednesday.

Rob Page's side were involved in a dramatic encounter at the weekend, as a Gareth Bale hat-trick brought them a 3-2 victory over Belarus. The Real Madrid forward completed his treble in the third minute of second-half stoppage time, and it may come to be seen as one of his most important goals for the national team. Dropped points against Belarus would have been a huge blow for Wales' ambitions of a second-place finish. Bale's late effort means they remain a point behind Czech Republic in second place.

The Czechs are not in action in this week's round of qualifiers, so Wales have the chance to climb above them in the standings. That would be a major psychological boost ahead of next month's trip to Prague, particularly as Wales will have still played one game fewer than Czech Republic after Wednesday's contest. As things stand, a play-off place is in the Welsh's hands.

Estonia sit bottom of the Group E table and are one of five teams - along with Lithuania, San Marino, Gibraltar and Liechtenstein - yet to pick up a point. Qualifying for the 2022 World Cup was never their goal, but the Estonians will still be disappointed with how they have performed up to now. They did at least manage to score twice in their last competitive fixture, a 5-2 defeat by Belgium last week.

Wales are still missing numerous first-team players through injury, but that should not be too big a problem given the relative weakness of their upcoming opponents. Aaron Ramsey, Kieffer Moore and David Brooks are among the absentees, but Joe Rodon is back in the squad and Harry Wilson is available again after suspension.

Estonia only lost 1-0 to Northern Ireland in a friendly at the weekend, and they will strive to turn in a dogged and obdurate display against Wales on Wednesday.

Kick-off is at 7:45pm BST and the game is being shown live on Sky Sports Main Event the UK.

VPN guide

Use a VPN to watch Premier league football from outside your country

If you’re out of the country for a round of Premier League fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You'll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you’ve paid up for a subscription and still want to catch Steve Bruce’s extra-red face without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.

But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.

There are plenty of good-value options out there, including:
