Looking for a West Ham v Lyon live stream? We've got you covered.

West Ham’s European adventure continues with a clash against Lyon in the quarter-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night.

David Moyes’ side have enjoyed a thrilling campaign so far and took a huge scalp to reach this round, knocking out six-time competition winners Sevilla.

Lyon also earned an impressive win in the last 16 as they eliminated Porto with a 2-1 aggregate win.

A semi-final clash against Barcelona or Eintracht Frankfurt awaits the winner, as the Hammers chase their first major European trophy since the 1964/65 Cup Winners’ Cup.

The Londoners warmed up with a 2-1 Premier League win over Everton on Sunday and have three wins in their last four games in all competitions.

Their home form has been impressive, with Moyes’ side going six games without defeat in all competitions, winning five.

Lyon are having an underwhelming domestic campaign and currently sit ninth in the Ligue 1 standings.

They beat Angers 3-2 on Sunday, with Moussa Dembele scoring twice, but the form of Peter Bosz’s side has been patchy recently.

However, they’ve been strong on the road and are currently unbeaten in the last four away matches in all competitions, which included a 1-0 victory in Porto.

Kick-off is at 8pm GMT and the game is being shown live on BT Sport 1  in the UK.

Use a VPN to watch a West Ham v Lyon live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal stream that decides to buffer at the worst possible moment. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:
