The transfer window in England is open until 11pm BST on Wednesday, August 31.
Already 11 of the 20 Premier League clubs have broken their transfer record this summer thanks to the top flight’s chunky new TV contract – and it looks like there’s much more to come, with spending soon set to top £1bn for the first time.
