The Champions League last-16 draw is nearly here, as the final group stage games determine who will make it to the knockout stages.

Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan have all booked their places in the draw already, but the likes of Barcelona and Juventus have shocked fans by failing to progress.

Teams who finish top of their groups will play teams who finished second in another group, and two teams from the same country cannot be drawn against each other at this stage.

ALL UEFA COMPETITIONS

Teams who finished third in their groups, however, will drop into the Europa League. This happens every year – but ever since last season, there's a fun twist: the Champions League drop-outs will have a playoff game against the clubs who finished second in their Europa groups.

Still following? After that, the winners of the playoffs will face the winners of the Europa groups, who receive a by from qualifying top of their respective pools.
