Ajax striker Sigthorsson out with ankle injury

ROTTERDAM - Ajax Amsterdam striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson is expected to be sidelined until January because of an ankle injury, the Dutch league club said on Wednesday.

The Iceland international suffered a broken bone in his ankle during Sunday's 1-0 defeat at Groningen.
