Arsenal eyeing up Wolfsburg hot-shot

Arsene Wenger's side have endured another frustrating season at the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners now having gone four campaigns without picking up a trophy since their 2005 FA Cup triumph at the Millennium Stadium.

And with Togolese front-man Emmanuel Adebayor being linked with a summer move to either AC Milan or Chelsea, the North London outfit are believed to be targeting the Bosnian hot-shot.

The former FK Teplice forward has hit 25 goals in 28 league outings in 2008/09 to fire Wolfsburg to the brink of a first ever Bundesliga crown.

Earlier this season, Arsenal's first-team coach Boro Primorac confirmed the club were monitoring the progress of the 23-year-old, who is now sure to be interesting Wenger following his devastating domestic form.

“We [will] keep our eyes on him," Primorac said in Kicker earlier in the campaign.

"He is a striker able to make it in the Premier League."
