Aston Villa v Leeds live stream: how to watch the Premier League wherever you are in the world
Watch an Aston Villa v Leeds live stream, as Dean Smith's side look to move to the top of the table
Aston Villa v Leeds live stream, BT Sport, Friday 23 October, 8.00pm BST
Aston Villa are looking to move to top spot in the Premier League for the first time in more than nine years when they host Leeds United on Friday night.
Dean Smith’s side have got off to a perfect start to the season, winning four league games from four, including an astonishing 7-2 demolition of holders Liverpool.
They are currently one point behind Everton in second place, but have a game in hand over the Toffees.
If they get the win, Villa will sit in first place in the Premier League for the first time since August 2011.
Not only that, but it would see them begin a season with five consecutive victories for the first time ever – the run of four in a row they are currently on has already matched a record set in 1930.
Smith is unlikely to make any changes to his side from the 1-0 win at Leicester on Sunday, although Keinan Davis is back in contention after recovering from injury.
The visitors haven’t had as much luck, as Marcelo Bielsa is without midfield lynchpin Kalvin Phillips for several weeks because of a shoulder injury.
Pascal Strujik is likely to step into the side in his place, but captain Liam Cooper and defender Diego Llorente are also likely to miss out.
Kick-off is at 8.00pm BST and the game is being shown on BT Sport Box Office in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch Aston Villa v Leeds live stream from outside your country
If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jose Mourinho tantrum. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).
All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.
There are plenty of options out there, including:
ExpressVPN
Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!
NordVPN
Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
A cheaper option; its cheapest package current averages at a wallet-friendly £2.29 per month.
IPVanish
Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
Slightly more expensive but supports up to 10 devices, and you can pay for it every three months if you need to.
