Aston Villa v West Ham United live stream: How to watch the Premier League from anywhere in the world
Watch an Aston Villa v West Ham United live stream as England's top flight returns
Aston Villa v West Ham United live stream, Sky Sports, Sunday 31 October, 4.30pm
West Ham will be looking to continue their fine run of form when they face Aston Villa on Sunday.
David Moyes’ men knocked Manchester City out of the League Cup with a penalty shoot-out victory in midweek. That is no mean feat given City’s dominance in that competition in recent years, and the fact that the Hammers’ second string managed to hold Pep Guardiola’s rotated side to a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes evidences the strength in depth Moyes now has at his disposal.
Equally impressive was last weekend’s well-deserved triumph over London rivals Tottenham. West Ham were deserved winners on the day and have now scored in all but one of their nine Premier League matches so far this season.
Aston Villa will be keen to bounce back from their 3-1 loss to Arsenal last time out. That was perhaps their worst performance of the season to date, and made it three defeats on the bounce for Dean Smith’s side. Only four teams in the Premier League have conceded more goals than Villa, who will need to tighten up at the back if they are to finish in the top half this term.
Smith must be tempted to move away from the 3-5-2 formation after his team’s disappointing display last time out. It would also be easier to get Leon Bailey, who is now back from injury, into a side playing 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. Bertrand Traore is also fit again, but Trezeguet, Keinan Davis and Carney Chukwuemeka are all missing.
West Ham could have Alex Kral available again after a positive COVID-19 test, and Moyes has no injury concerns to deal with. The likes of Said Benrahma, Michail Antonio, Aaron Cresswell, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen are likely to return to the starting XI after being left out in midweek.
Kick-off is at 4.30pm BST on Sunday 31 October, and UK viewers can watch live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event. See below for international broadcast options.

VPN guide
Use a VPN to watch Premier league football from outside your country
If you’re out of the country for a round of Premier League fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You'll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you’ve paid up for a subscription and still want to catch the action without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.
But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.
There are plenty of good-value options out there, including:
ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!
NordVPN with quality mobile and desktop apps
A cheaper option and almost ExpressVPN's equal when it comes to quality, too. A single subscription covers six connections, so you can use it on mobile, laptop, streaming devices and more, all at the same time.
Surfshark offers a great VPN at a fraction of the price
It's clear to see why Surfshark is top of TechRadar's best cheap VPN table – it combines an excellent product with bargain pricing, starting at £2/$2.50 a month!
