Blind desperate for Manchester United stay

Daley Blind is desperate to stay at Manchester United amid growing uncertainty over his long-term future at Old Trafford.

The Netherlands international is no longer an undisputed starter under Jose Mourinho and recent reports suggest United are ready to cash in on Blind during the close-season, with his contract due to expire in 2018.

Nevertheless, the 27-year-old hopes to stay at the Europa League finalists beyond the expiry date of his existing deal.

"I do not really know anything yet about my future," Blind was quoted as saying by Mirror.

"I have not really thought about it either.

"But which player would not want to stay at Manchester United? That is the only thing I can say about it."

Blind joined United from Ajax after impressing at the 2014 World Cup and has since made over 100 appearances in all competitions for the club.
