Bosingwa: Little Leo Messi doesn't scare me

The Portuguese right-back switched to the opposite side of defence for the Blues' 1-0 win at West Ham on Saturday, and is set to retain his place on Tuesday night with regular incumbent Ashley Cole suspended.

And the former Porto defender insists he has no problem marking Messi - arguably the best player in the world on current form - who has 21 league and eight Champions League goals to his name so far this season.

"I'm prepared for the challenge. It is no problem marking Messi," he said.

"Messi is a big star worldwide, but it is possible to stop him with patience and calm. You need to keep him under pressure.

"I have experience playing with Porto and Portugal against big players, and now with Chelsea. I do not fear the Argentine."
