Leicester City can’t afford another slip-up in their bid to reach the Champions League when they travel to relegation threatened Brighton on Saturday.
The Foxes have hit a rut lately, losing to Arsenal last weekend before managing only a draw against Burnley.
Brendan Rodgers’ side remain third in the standings, but the gap to Everton in fifth place is now only four points and the Toffees have a game in hand to come.
Leicester were also knocked out of the Europa League by Slavia Prague last week, but will hope to turn things around against a Seagulls side in rotten form.
Graham Potter’s team were left exasperated after missing two penalties and having a goal controversially disallowed in their 1-0 defeat to relegation rivals West Brom last weekend.
Brighton are now winless in five games in all competitions and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Leicester in February thanks to a 90th minute Kelechi Iheanacho strike.
Only three points separates Potter’s side in 16th place from Fulham in 18th as the relegation battle heats up.
Tariq Lamptey is still injured for Brighton, while Adam Webster and Florian Andone are also out.
Leicester’s injury list includes Harvey Barnes, James Justin, Jonny Evans, Dennis Praet, Ayoze Perez, James Maddison and Wes Morgan.
The Foxes won their last meeting back in December 3-0 at the King Power, thanks to a Maddison double and Jamie Vardy strike.
