Cech agent dismisses Barca rumours
The agent of Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has dismissed rumours linking the glove-man with a summer move to Barcelona.
The current La Liga leaders are believed to be on the lookout for a new stopper at the end of the season, with current keeper Victor Valdes the subject of constant criticism in recent weeks.
And the Blues' Czech international, and Juventus stopper Gianluigi Buffon, are being mooted as possible new recruits for the Catalans.
But although Cech's agent, Pavel Zika, has revealed that Pep Guardiola's side are tracking Chelsea's No.1, he insists the goalkeeper is settled in England and not seeking a move away, despite the fact he has recently begun taking Spanish lessons.
"We know of the interest. But Petr is very happy at Chelsea and has one of the best contracts there," Zika told Pravo.
"It [learning Spanish] has nothing to do with Barcelona. Petr loves languages and he is good at them.
"They [Cech and his wife Martina] are anticipating their second child, are happy in London and Chelsea will hardly release him."
