Collison: Zola good enough to play for Hammers
West Ham midfielder Jack Collison claims, manager, Gianfranco Zola could still play in the Premier League, and is better than the majority of the Hammers' squad.
The 20-year-old Welsh international, who has featured in 10 Premier League games for the Upton Park outfit so far this season, says the 42-year-old gaffer still shows off his skills in training, and could more than hold his own as a player in the top flight.
"His enthusiasm for the game is still superb," Collison told The Sun. "He still joins in with training and he’s still so good. He’s one of the best players we have got here. I think he could play for us now and do himself justice.
"Some of the things he does in training makes us look silly, to be honest. It’s just a joy to watch him out there. He’s one of the most technically gifted players to have played in the Premier League and always will be."
