Watson steps up from his position of goalkeeping coach with immediate effect, a role which has been taken on by Andrew Sparkes.

Fleming had been performing the job on an interim basis since the arrival of boss Hasenhuttl in December.

Meanwhile, Matt Hale has been promoted to academy director and will oversee the development of all age groups from Under-eight to Under-23, with Ed Vahid taking the academy manager role previously held by Hale.
Chris Welman has been promoted to the role of head of academy recruitment at St Mary’s, replacing Terry Burton who will remain a part of the academy scouting team.
