England to play host to New Zealand in friendly fixture at Wembley in November

England will play New Zealand in a friendly at Wembley in November, the Football Association has announced.
Gareth Southgate’s side will host the All Whites on November 12 ahead of their final two UEFA Nations League Group A2 fixtures away to Belgium on November 15 and at home against Iceland three days later.
It will be only the third meeting between the two countries, and the first in England. The two previous matches were both part of the Three Lions’ 1991 summer tour of New Zealand when Graham Taylor’s team won 1-0 in Auckland and 2-0 in Wellington.

In keeping with current guidelines due to the coronavirus pandemic, the game in November is scheduled to be played behind-closed-doors, although the FA insist they are “committed to working with the Government to get supporters back in stadiums as soon as possible.”
