Gundogan undergoes knee surgery
Ilkay Gundogan has declared himself to be on "another road to recovery" after the Manchester City star had a knee ligament operation.

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has undergone surgery to repair a cruciate knee ligament injury.
Germany international Gundogan sustained the injury during the first half of City's 2-0 Premier League victory over Watford last week and he is set to miss the remainder of his debut campaign in England.
Gundogan was the first signing of the Pep Guardiola era at the Etihad Stadium when he agreed a switch from Borussia Dortmund but was unable to make his debut until September due to the kneecap dislocation that ruled him out of Euro 2016.
On Friday, the 26-year-old used social media to post a picture of himself in his hospital bed with a heavily strapped right leg.
"Hi guys," Gundogan said. "I'm doing well and today's surgery went fine.
"Now it's another road to recovery."
