Jurgen Klopp faces a defensive headache going into Liverpool’s meeting with West Ham on Saturday.

Having already lost Virgil van Dijk to an anterior cruciate ligament injury, the Reds will now be without the hamstrung Fabinho - a midfielder by trade who has stood in at centre-back of late - for an unspecified period. With Joel Matip also sidelined, Klopp could be forced to partner Joe Gomez with the 19-year-old Rhys Williams, who featured from the bench in the midweek victory over Midtjylland.

It is hardly an ideal situation for Liverpool, although the reigning champions have been relatively fortunate with injuries over the last two seasons. And if Klopp has a diminishing number of options at the back, the same cannot be said at the other end of the field. Diogo Jota has performed well in recent weeks and Klopp might be tempted to retain the 4-2-3-1 formation he used against Sheffield United in order to include the Portuguese alongside his usual front three.

West Ham’s points return might look unspectacular, but two wins and two draws from six games represents an excellent start to the season given that they have already faced Arsenal, Tottenham, Leicester, Wolves and Manchester City. The Hammers are benefitting from a settled side and Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio are capable of causing problems to a makeshift Liverpool backline.

As well as the aforementioned absentees, the hosts will have to make do without Naby Keita, Kostas Tsimikas and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on Saturday, while Thiago Alcantara is touch and go to feature.

David Moyes has a fully-fit squad to choose from, with Antonio expected to start despite “feeling his hamstring” in last weekend’s draw with Manchester City. West Ham will be content to contain and counter at Anfield, but Liverpool’s attacking might should be enough to bring them another three points.

Kick-off is at 5.30pm GMT and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports London in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Liverpool v West Ham live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jamie Vardy goal. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:
