Liverpool Women manager Vicky Jepson leaves by mutual consent
Liverpool Women have announced that Vicky Jepson has left her role as manager by mutual consent.
Jepson had been in charge of the FA Women’s Championship side since October 2018, having performed various coaching roles for the club since 2009.
Assistant manager Amber Whiteley has been appointed interim manager as the Reds’ board begin the search for a permanent replacement.
“It’s with a heavy heart that my time has come to an end with Liverpool Football Club; the place I love and have been lucky enough to call home for over a decade,” Jepson told the club website.

“For now, I’ll be taking some time out with family, but I’m excited and looking forward to my next challenge in the world of football.”
Liverpool sit third in the Championship following last season’s relegation from the Women’s Super League.
A statement from the board read: “Vicky’s legacy here will be the thousands of young girls – both around Liverpool and internationally – whose talent and love for the game flourished under her guidance.
