Lloris praises Adebayor's all-round displays

The Togo international continued his resurgence under new manager Tim Sherwood with two goals in Tottenham's 3-1 victory over Swansea in South Wales.

He headed home Christian Eriksen's cross before securing all three points after 71 minutes, taking his tally to five goals in six Premier League appearances.

But Lloris has been impressed with the former Arsenal and Manchester City striker, whether he has been on the scoresheet or not.

"Take away the fact that he scored the goals, he worked a lot of the team," Lloris told the club's official website.

"He made a lot of runs and created a lot of space around him. Sometimes when you are struggling in a game he's a good target, he can keep the ball and help the team to play higher up the pitch.

"He's a top player and a decisive player."
