Man Utd v Brighton & Hove Albion live stream, BT Sport, Sunday 4 April, 7.30pm BST

Manchester United will be looking to tighten their grip on second place in the Premier League when they host Brighton on Sunday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have no chance of reeling in Manchester City in top spot, but they are sitting comfortably in the race for the Champions League places. United have an eight-point cushion above fifth-placed West Ham and will hope to extend that this weekend, before turning their attention to the quarter-finals of the Europa League on Thursday.

United were eliminated from the FA Cup in their last fixture before the international break, but they have lost only one of their last 23 Premier League outings. The Red Devils have also taken 10 points from the last 12 available at Old Trafford, so Brighton could be in for a difficult evening.

Graham Potter’s side boosted their survival hopes with back-to-back wins before the recent pause for World Cup qualifiers. They are not out of the battle against relegation just yet, though, with just four points separating them from the bottom three. Brighton certainly have more positive momentum than Newcastle and Fulham below them, and they have the ability to cause United one or two problems here.

United remain without long-term absentee Phil Jones, but Paul Pogba is fully fit again and will almost certainly be part of the starting XI. Solskjaer will have to choose between David de Gea and Dean Henderson in goal, while Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Mason Greenwood will all need to be assessed.

Aaron Connolly could be fit enough for a place on the bench, but Brighton will be without Florin Andone,  Solly March, Tariq Lamptey and Adam Webster. The Seagulls have never won at Old Trafford but they have beaten United twice since their promotion to the Premier League, both at the Amex Stadium.

Kick-off is at 7.30pm BST and the game is being shown on BT Sport 1 in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Man Utd v Brighton & Hove Albion live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jose Mourinho tantrum. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:

ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee

FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!

NordVPN NordLocker

NordVPN with quality mobile and desktop apps

A cheaper option and almost ExpressVPN's equal when it comes to quality, too. A single subscription covers six connections, so you can use it on mobile, laptop, streaming devices and more, all at the same time.

Surfshark Surfshark VPN

Surfshark offers a great VPN at a fraction of the price

It's clear to see why Surfshark is top of TechRadar's best cheap VPN table – it combines an excellent product with bargain pricing, starting at £2/$2.50 a month!
