Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag angry with ANOTHER player - as Jadon Sancho row rumbles on: report
Manchester United are underperforming right now, and the atmosphere among the players and coaches makes it clear to see why
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly angry with another of his players, as discontent between the coach and players continues to seemingly grow.
Ten Hag massively fell out with Cristiano Ronaldo at the beginning of last season, with the Portuguese star later criticising the Dutchman in an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
Disharmony among his players continued into the new campaign, too, with Jadon Sancho now frozen out of the Manchester United squad following his public response to Ten Hag's comments after being left out against Arsenal in September. He's not the only player facing his wrath, however.
According to the Daily Express, Ten Hag doesn't believe that Andre Onana needed to return to the Cameroon national team in September, instead believing the goalkeeper should've focussed on building his career at Manchester United.
At World Cup 2022, Cameroon manager Rigobert Song sent Onana home from the tournament after just two group games due to a disciplinary issue, with the goalkeeper reportedly unhappy with the style of play. Onana subsequently retired form international football in December 2022, aged just 26.
However, after resolving his differences with Song, Onana returned to the national team for Cameroon's September international against Burundi. That decision has reportedly angered Ten Hag, though, following Onana's difficult start to life at Manchester United.
Indeed, the 27-year-old has made multiple mistakes for the Red Devils since signing for them in the summer for £47m, and is set to miss at least two games in January - potentially more, depending on Cameroon's progression - should he be selected for the Africa Cup of Nations.

That leaves Altay Bayindir as the first-choice option for Manchester United in Onana's absence. An established goalkeeper at Fenerbahce, the Turk is yet to make his debut for Erik ten Hag following his summer switch.
