Manchester United vs Crystal Palace live stream, Sky Sports Premier League, Saturday September 19, 5.30pm BST

Manchester United will get their season up and running against Crystal Palace, who beat Southampton last weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side finished last term strongly, securing a third-place finish with victory over Leicester on the final day.

Their form in the second half of the campaign was excellent, with the January arrival of Bruno Fernandes having a transformative effect.

Donny van de Beek has joined the ranks to add another option in midfield, but United fans are disappointed that the Dutchman remains their only piece of business so far this summer.

Additional new faces may yet arrive before the window closes next month, but this Saturday’s line-up could be similar to the one which ended last season.

Palace pulled off a surprise 2-1 victory in this fixture in 2019/20 and will be quietly confident of taking something from their latest trip to Old Trafford too.

The Eagles ended last season miserably but got back to winning ways against Southampton on the opening weekend.

Their discipline and doggedness at Selhurst Park pleased Roy Hodgson, who could include new signings Eberechi Eze and Michy Batshuayi in his starting line-up here.

Club captain Luka Milivojevic may return in place of James McCarthy in the centre of the park, with Cheikhou Kouyate set to continue alongside Scott Dann in the heart of the defence.

The two centre-backs will have their hands full dealing with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, with Fernandes supplying the ammunition in behind.

Van de Beek could start in place of Paul Pogba, who’s lacking match fitness, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka is in line to face his former club.

United will hope their attacking firepower overwhelms Palace, but Hodgson’s side are adept at sitting deep and absorbing pressure.

The counter-attacking prowess of Wilfried Zaha, Eze and Andros Townsend will be key to the Eagles’ hopes of pulling off a surprise victory, but United should prove too strong if they hit their stride.

Kick-off is at 5.30pm BST and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Premier League/Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Ultra HD in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Manchester United vs Crystal Palace live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jamie Vardy goal. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.
