Martinez backs Bayern to bounce back
Bayern Munich are winless in four games in all competitions, but Javi Martinez has promised the Bundesliga champions will bounce back.
Javi Martinez has promised that Bayern Munich will bounce back "stronger than ever" from their current tough run.
Reigning champions Bayern trail Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund by four points after a 3-0 defeat at home to Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday that extended their winless run to four games in all competitions under Niko Kovac.
Spanish star Martinez is certain his side will turn their fortunes around, though, and warned their critics to "enjoy your moment" before Bayern respond.
"We win together, we cry together, we succeed together, we fail together," Martinez wrote on his Twitter page. "But I believe in this team and we will fight, as always, together.
"And those who talk s*** in difficult situations like this: enjoy your moment, because this team will rise up again stronger than ever!"
Kovac, who left Eintracht Frankfurt to replace Jupp Heynckes at the end of last season, has acknowledged he must start picking up results quickly as speculation mounts regarding his future.
