Mikel Arteta will be looking for a response from his Arsenal team when they take on Molde in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Spaniard can at least console himself with a look at the Europa League tables, which show Arsenal sitting top of Group B on maximum points. A win against Molde is not a given, though: the Norwegian side are sitting on six points following victories over Dundalk and Rapid Vienna.
Pepe is available for Arsenal as his suspension only applies for domestic games, but Arteta’s annoyance with the Ivorian following his red card at Elland Road could see him miss out. Thomas Partey could return from a thigh injury and David Luiz is back after his wife gave birth at the weekend, but Pablo Mari, Calum Chambers, Gabriel Martinelli, Mohamed Elneny, Sead Kolasinac and Bukayo Saka are all out for a variety of reasons. Willian may undergo a late fitness test after sustaining a muscular problem against Leeds.
A fourth victory of their Europa League campaign would see Arsenal essentially book their spot in the last 32 with a game to spare.
