Morocco midfielder Azzedine Ounahi has impressed at World Cup 2022 and is wanted by 'big clubs', his club president has revealed

Morocco midfielder Azzedine Ounahi is wanted by a number of Europe's top clubs following his eye-catching displays at World Cup 2022, Angers president Said Chabane has revealed.
Ounahi has earned praise for his performances in Morocco's remarkable run to the semi-finals at Qatar 2022, with Spain coach Luis Enrique one of those impressed by the 22-year-old.
"I'm sorry, I can't remember his name. Where did this kid come from?" Luis Enrique said after Spain's exit to Morocco on penalties.
"He can really play. he surprised me. He didn't stop running, he must be exhausted."
Ounahi has been linked with a number of clubs already, including West Ham and Leicester, and Chabane told RTL Sport: "We have offers for Azzedine Ounahi.
"Approaches from big clubs and medium clubs. It comes from everywhere: Italy, Spain, England and France.
"Our wish is to find a deal in January, but that it remains until the end of the season."
