Muntari linked with Redknapp reunion
Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has refused to rule out a possible return to the Premier League with Tottenham, reuniting him with former Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp. The 24-year-old sealed a £12.7 million switch from Fratton Park to the San Siro last summer, and has made 22 Serie A appearances under Jose Mourinho this season, scoring twice.
However, rumours have surfaced in recent weeks linking the Ghanaian with a return to the Premier League and reunion with former manager Redknapp at White Hart Lane.
And Muntari admitted that although he is happy with the Serie A leaders, he remains a keen admirer of both English football and Redknapp.
"I love the football in England, there is no doubt about that, that is where the best league is," he said.
“But I only signed last year for Inter and I like it here. As long as the coach still needs me, I am happy to stay.
“At the end of the season things could change, though, so we will have to wait and see.
“Everyone knows that I really like Harry. He is one of the best coaches in football, he is a top manager like the one I have at the moment.
“A move to Spurs? I don’t know.”
