Negredo subject of multiple English interest
Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo is being targeted by several Premier League clubs, according to the player's agent.
The 23-year-old has bagged 32 league goals in 70 outings for Almeria since arriving from Real's B team in 2007, with the youngster's form leading him to be linked with Liverpool in the past.
Tottenham Hotspur were recently reported to be leading the chase for the front-man's services, with manager Harry Redknapp also thought to be keen on bringing Negredo's Real team-mate Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to White Hart Lane.
However, Negredo's agent, Alejandro Camano, has now revealed that several English sides have expressed an interest in the forward, but that no deal has yet been reached.
"We have had several offers from the Premier League, but no deal has been finalised and we are still studying which is the best option for the player," he said in the Daily Mirror.
"But also there are clubs in Spain who are interested."
