Newcastle United v Crystal Palace live stream, BT Sport, Tuesday 2 February, 8.15pm GMT

Newcastle are aiming to take another step towards mid-table security when Crystal Palace travel north on Tuesday.

Steve Bruce’s  side finally ended a rotten run of form with a 2-0 win at Everton on Saturday, halting a streak of five consecutive defeats and nine games without a victory.

It was a step in the right direction for the 15th-placed Magpies, but Palace also come into the game on the back of a win after beating Wolves 1-0 at Selhurst Park.

Callum Wilson’s double fired Newcastle to their rare victory and they will look to the striker for more inspiration as they look to notch back-to-back wins for the second time this season.

Palace have also been inconsistent and before their Wolves win, Roy Hodgson’s side had recorded just one victory in nine league games.

But the Londoners’ overall form has been enough to keep them in the relative safety of 13th place, 12 points above the relegation zone.

Their last meeting, at Selhurst in November, ended in a 2-0 win for Newcastle thanks to Wilson and Joelinton strikes.

But the Tynesiders will be without captain Jamaal Lascelles, who picked up an injury against Everton.

Palace’s injury list includes Jeffrey Schlupp, James Tomkins and Mamadou Sakho, but new signing Jean-Philippe Mateta could make his debut.

Kick-off is at 8.15pm GMT and the game is being shown on BT Sport 2 in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Newcastle United v Crystal Palace live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jose Mourinho tantrum. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:

ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee

FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!

NordVPN NordLocker

NordVPN with quality mobile and desktop apps

A cheaper option and almost ExpressVPN's equal when it comes to quality, too. A single subscription covers six connections, so you can use it on mobile, laptop, streaming devices and more, all at the same time.

Surfshark Surfshark VPN

Surfshark offers a great VPN at a fraction of the price

It's clear to see why Surfshark is top of TechRadar's best cheap VPN table – it combines an excellent product with bargain pricing, starting at £2/$2.50 a month!
