Newcastle go out in search of a third straight win as they welcome Aston Villa to St. James' Park on Sunday afternoon.
Eddie Howe's side produced an impressive performance to beat Everton 3-1 in the week, and they will hope to pull further clear of the relegation zone with another positive result here.
Villa, on the other hand, blew a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 with Leeds last time out, so Steven Gerrard will want a big reaction from his team.
The visitors have lost three and drawn two of their last six games in all competitions, but three of their four victories under Gerrard - the last three, in fact - have come on the road.
These two last met in August, when Villa ran out 2-0 winners - although there were different bosses in both dugouts back then.

Newcastle will remain without Jamal Lewis, Matt Ritchie, Callum Wilson, Isaac Hayden and Federico Fernandez for this one - while Kieran Trippier, who scored a fine free-kick in that victory over Everton, is a doubt.
Matt Targett - on loan at Newcastle from Villa - is not eligible to play against his parent club.
Villa, meanwhile, will be missing Ezri Konsa after the defender saw red on Wednesday night.
In better news for Gerrard, Emi Buendia and Philippe Coutinho could be involved after being forced off against Leeds, while Leon Bailey has returned to full training after a couple of months out injured.
Bertrand Traore could also make the squad following his return from the Africa Cup of Nations, where he helped Burkina Faso reach the semi-finals.
