Manchester City could extend their Premier League unbeaten run to 15 games when they head to Norwich on Saturday evening.
The champions' last away outing - a 1-1 draw at Southampton - did see them drop points for the first time since the end of October, though, and they were stunned by the Canaries on their last visit to Carrow Road, losing 3-2.
But Pep Guardiola's side still pose a typically daunting challenge, and they returned to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 victory at home to Brentford on Wednesday night.
Still, Norwich are going well under Dean Smith and have lost only one of their last six in all competitions. Their second home match in four days follows a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Another memorable triumph over City will lift the Canaries out of the relegation zone at least temporarily, with Newcastle not in action until Sunday.
In any case, they will hope to fare rather better than they did in August's reverse fixture - when they were thrashed 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium, just as they had been on the final day of the 2019/20 season.
Team news
Norwich have doubts over Josh Sargent and Ozan Kabak - who both missed the Palace game through illness - as well as Lukas Rupp, who has been struggling with a thigh issue. Tim Krul, Jacob Sorensen and Andrew Omobamidele all remain sidelined.
However, Chelsea loanee Billy Gilmour could make his first league start since December, having recently returned from injury.
As for City, John Stones could drop out for Kyle Walker at right-back - seeing as the latter is suspended for next week's Champions League last 16 trip to Sporting Lisbon.
Guardiola has almost a full complement of players to choose from, with Gabriel Jesus and Cole Palmer the only doubts.
