Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang among Arsenal stars looking for way out of club - report
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one of several players looking to leave Arsenal, according to reports.
The Gunners sacked Unai Emery as manager after a disappointing start to the season, and Mikel Arteta looks set to replace him in the Emirates hotseat.
But the Independent reports that the Spaniard will face a big task in convincing his stars to stay at the club, with Aubameyang among the players considering their futures.
Aubameyang is actively looking for a way out of Arsenal and he is not the only one to be disillusioned with the way things are going.
The striker wants to join a club capable of fighting for trophies immediately, and doesn’t have the patience for a medium or long-term project.
Alexandre Lacazette and Granit Xhaka are also thinking about leaving.
The report quotes sources who claim that this attitude is spreading to “half the squad”.
Arteta has a big job on his hands, with the club down in 10th place in the Premier League table after a run of one win in 12 games in all competitions.
