Premier League reports

Emmanuel Adebayor missed two decent chances but West Ham, now unbeaten in seven away league games, earned their luck.
ASTON VILLA 0 WIGAN ATHLETIC 0
Villa poured forward but Wigan delivered a defensive performance worthy of their manager, former Manchester United stalwart Steve Bruce.

Bolton threw away a 2-0 lead for the second time in a week but this time fought back to win.
Sebastien Puygrenier and Kevin Davies put the home team two up. Darren Bent came off the bench to score twice for Spurs in three minutes, only for Davies to secure Bolton's first victory in seven games with a late header.
FULHAM 3 PORTSMOUTH 1
Portsmouth's defensive problems were highlighted when their offside trap was beaten twice with expensive consequences.
Andy Johnson got the opening goal after 14 minutes and Erik Nevland the second as Pompey defenders stood watching before Nevland punished more dithering 10 minutes from time.
Portsmouth did their fair share of attacking and Peter Crouch was denied by last-ditch defending before David Nugent nodded a late consolation.
HULL CITY 2 WEST BROMWICH ALBION 2
Hull ended a run of six successive defeats but will be annoyed to have twice lost the lead.
They got the opener at the end of the first half when Bernard Mendy ran 50 metres and rounded keeper Scott Carson but on-loan striker Jay Simpson levelled after 53 minutes.
A Craig Fagan diving header restored Hull's lead after 69 minutes only for West Brom to level again with a Chris Brunt penalty four minutes later.
MIDDLESBROUGH 0 BLACKBURN ROVERS 0
Two struggling sides fought hard but showed little quality.
Boro have now gone 12 games without a win, scoring one goal in seven matches, and it should have been another defeat as Blackburn made all the running in the second half.
STOKE CITY 1 MANCHESTER CITY 0
Stoke collected their first win in 10 league matches despite playing more than half the game with 10 men after Rory Delap was sent off for kicking Shaun Wright-Phillips in the 37th minute.
James Beattie scored an excellent header in first-half injury time and Stoke defended strongly in the second period as the visitors looked desperately short of invention and hardly managed a shot on target.
