Previews: Leaders Lyon still depleted

Leaders Olympique Lyon are once again short of options in defence for the visit of Sochaux on Sunday.

Brazil centre back Cris is suspended, France's Jean-Alain Boumsong and Ghana's John Mensah are doubtful through injury and right wing back Francois Clerc is struggling for form after a seven-month absence.

Olympique Marseille should be at full-strength in attack when they welcome strugglers Nantes on Saturday with a chance to go top for a day at least.

Senegal striker Mamadou Niang and Ivory Coast forward Bakari Kone both came back from injury during Wednesday's 2-2 draw at Ajax Amsterdam in the UEFA Cup. They will vie for a place up front with Brazilian Brandao, France's Hatem Ben Arfa and Mathieu Valbuena.

Paris St Germain, who are third on goal difference, welcome back Stephane Sessegnon when they visit fifth-placed Toulouse on Sunday. The Benin playmaker missed three games in French competitions through suspension.

Centre back Zoumana Camara is suspended after being shown a direct red card against Marseille last weekend.

Fourth-placed Girondins Bordeaux will be without France midfielder Alou Diarra through suspension when they visit bottom club Le Havre on Saturday.

Argentine striker Fernando Cavenaghi is out of action with a right knee injury.

Lille players will observe a minute's silence before they take on Grenoble on Saturday. They will also wear black armbands in memory of two fans killed by a train after a Ligue 1 game against Lyon at the Stade de France two weeks ago.

The two victims were among a group of fans walking on railway tracks while trying to get back to their buses.

Lille, sixth in the table, will have to make do without regular starters Yohan Cabaye and Ludovic Obraniak in midfield against Grenoble.

Both players are suspended after being shown direct red cards in Lille's penalty shootout defeat at Toulouse in the French Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday.
