Serie A Previews: Pato keen for Kaka to stay

Kaka should stay at AC Milan because it is home, team mate and Brazil compatriot Alexandre Pato said following reports Manchester City have offered 100 million euros ($133 million) to take the player to England's Premier League.

"If I was Kaka, I would have no doubts. I would stay at Milan, which is his home," the in-form striker told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Kaka trained as normal ahead of Saturday's home game with Fiorentina and coach Carlo Ancelotti will check his frame of mind before deciding whether to start him.

On-loan David Beckham is also in line for his home debut having played almost all of last weekend's 2-2 draw at AS Roma. New Milan signing Felipe Mattioni, a full back on loan from Gremio, will not be available after he jetted back to Brazil.

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is poised for his first league start in three months in Sunday's game at Lazio.

The Italy international came through Wednesday's 3-0 Italian Cup win over Catania unscathed following a leg injury. Czech right back Zdenek Grygera is suspended.

Leaders Inter Milan are without the suspended Sulley Muntari for Sunday's trip to Atalanta.

New Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini, signed from Fiorentina on Wednesday, is ready to start at home to Palermo on Sunday alongside Antonio Cassano.

AS Roma midfielder Simone Perrotta is banned from the game at lowly Torino on Sunday but the resurgent Giallorossi will welcome back forward Mirko Vucinic after being rested.
