The Premier League’s bottom two go head-to-head at Bramall Lane on Tuesday in a clash that could be crucial to both sides’ survival hopes. 

Chris Wilder has overseen an upturn from form by the Blades recently, winning two of their last four games to finally get off the mark after failing to pick up three points in their first 18 games.

But the victories over Newcastle and Manchester United still leave them with a mountain to climb, as Sheffield United have just eight points, 13 adrift of safety.

Beating West Brom is a must if the Yorkshire club are going to pull off the unlikeliest of great escapes, as Sam Allardyce’s side travel north in poor form.

The Baggies are without a win in their last three games and could only draw 2-2 at home to fellow relegation battlers Fulham last time out.

Enda Stevens and Jack Robinson are set to miss out for the hosts through injury, but Ben Osborn could return.

West Brom winger Grady Diangana is an injury concern for Allardyce and new signing Mbaye Diagne could earn his first start for the Hawthorns club.
