Tottenham Hotspur v Antwerp live stream, BT Sport, Thursday 10 December, 20.00pm GMT

Tottenham will be looking to continue their fine run of form when they welcome Antwerp to north London on Thursday.

Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Arsenal returned Spurs to the top of the Premier League table after Chelsea had overtaken them the previous day. Jose Mourinho has now been in charge of Tottenham for more than a year and he has now got his ideas across to a squad that was accustomed to a very different style of play under Mauricio Pochettino. There have been occasional setbacks this term - the 3-3 draw with West Ham in the Premier League and the 1-0 loss to Antwerp in this competition - but Spurs are clearly moving in the right direction. A Spurs win is 4/11 with Bet365 right now.

That defeat in Belgium at the end of October means Antwerp have the upper hand in the battle for top spot in Group J. Ivan Leko’s side hold a two-point lead over Spurs heading into Thursday’s showdown, which means a draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would be enough for them to advance as group winners. Mourinho’s men must emerge victorious if they are to progress in first place. You can back the draw with odds of 9/2 with BetFred.

Spurs will be unable to call upon the services of Erik Lamela, and Tanguy Ndombele is unlikely to be risked after missing the Arsenal win. Carlos Vinicius, Gareth Bale, Davinson Sanchez, Dele Alli and Japhet Tanganga are among the fringe players who could be given an opportunity to impress, as they have done in previous Europa League fixtures. Son Heung-min and Harry Kane are unlikely to be risked ahead of upcoming Premier League games against Crystal Palace and Liverpool. Antwerp are priced at 7/1 for the win at 888Sport.

Tottenham will not underestimate the threat posed by Antwerp having already been beaten by them once this term. However, a 4-2 loss to Genk at the weekend showed that Leko’s team have vulnerabilities that Spurs will look to exploit on Thursday.

Kick-off is at 20.00pm GMT and the game is being shown on BT Sport 2 in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Tottenham Hotspur v Antwerp live stream from outside your country

We know, we know, this has crept up on you a bit. So what if you’ve organised a quick winter break and you’re out of the country for the first Champions League week of the season?

We can help. If you’re out of the country for this round of Champions League fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address, and you’ll be blocked from watching.

But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.

There are plenty of good-value options out there, including:

1. ExpressVPN (inc. 30-day, money-back guarantee)

The recommended VPN of choice. FourFourTwo’s brainy pals TechRadar love ExpressVPN's lightning-quick connections, security you can trust, and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 plus plenty more. It also comes with that money-back guarantee, has 24/7 support, is currently available for a 49% discount and with three months FREE. Grand.

2. Nord VPN (inc. 30-day, money-back guarantee)

A cheaper option; its cheapest package current averages at a titchy £2.29 per month.

3. IPVanish (inc. seven-day money-back guarantee)

Slightly more expensive but supports up to 10 devices, and you can pay up your hard-earned every three months if required.
