How to watch a Watford v Brentford live stream, as the Hornets look to sting the Bees
Watford v Brentford live stream, Sky Sports, Tuesday 15 December, 8pm GMT
Watford and Brentford will both be looking to build on weekend wins when they go head-to-head on Tuesday.
A 1-0 victory over Birmingham means Watford go into this game in fourth place, just four points behind Championship leaders Norwich. The pre-season favourites for promotion appear to have found their feet back in the second tier in recent weeks, and have now lost only one of their last nine games in the league. Watford are now 17/10 with 888Sport to win.
The Hornets have also tightened up considerably at the back, conceding only two goals in their last six. Only Swansea have a better defensive record than Vladimir Ivic’s side after 18 games. A draw is 11/5 with Betfair.
Brentford head into this match in even better form. A 3-1 triumph over Nottingham Forest on Saturday extended the Bees’ unbeaten run to 11 games and kept them in sixth place, with Norwich only six points ahead at the summit of the standings. Brentford are 2/1 to win Bet365.
It was perhaps inevitable that Brentford would start this season slowly after the heartbreak of their play-off final defeat last term, but Thomas Frank’s side are now looking up once again. Watford will be particularly wary of their opponents’ excellent away form: only Norwich have collected more points on their travels than Brentford in 2020/21.
Watford will have to make do without Craig Cathcart, Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru for the visit of the Bees. Ivic used a 4-1-4-1 formation against Birmingham at the weekend but could revert to two up front here, with Joao Pedro hoping for a recall alongside Troy Deeney at the top of the pitch.
Brentford will be unable to call upon the services of Shandon Baptiste, Christian Norgaard and Mads Roerslev Rasmussen, all of whom remain sidelined until later this month. Frank is likely to stick with the starting XI that picked up all three points against Forest last time out.
Kick-off is at 8pm GMT and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Football in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Watford v Brentford live stream from outside your country
If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jamie Vardy goal. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).
All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.
There are plenty of options out there, including:
ExpressVPN
Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee

NordVPN
Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
A cheaper option; its cheapest package current averages at a wallet-friendly £2.29 per month.
IPVanish
Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
Slightly more expensive but supports up to 10 devices, and you can pay for it every three months if you need to.
