Wenger fuels Real Madrid rumours
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has fueled speculation that he could be set for a summer switch to Real Madrid, after admitting the Bernabeu post would be "strongly interesting" should Florentino Perez win the club’s presidential election. Perez - the architect behind the Madridistas' galacticos era involving Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos and David Beckham - announced last week that he is to run for re-election.

And having failed to lure the Frenchman to the Spanish capital in 2003, Perez is set to launch a second attempt at bringing the 59-year-old to the club.
Wenger, who has been at the Gunners' helm since 1996, is currently contracted to the Emirates Stadium outfit until 2011 and has insisted he will always honour any contract.
However, the former Monaco and Grampus Eight chief is - for the first time in his Arsenal career - receiving criticism from supporters, frustrated at seeing their side fail to win a trophy for four seasons and eager for their iconic boss to sign experienced heads to compliment their armoury of talented youngsters.
"With Perez the project will be strongly interesting for every coach," he told Telefoot.
"In general I always go right to the end of my contract.”
And when asked if he had spoken with Perez, Wenger added: “Allow me to remain discreet on that matter.”
