West Brom v Southampton live stream live stream, Sky Sports, Monday 12 April, 6pm BST

West Brom will be looking to build on their shock victory over Chelsea when they face Southampton on Monday.

The Baggies delivered one of the surprises of the Premier League season in their last outing, as they thrashed Thomas Tuchel’s side 5-2 at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea may have been forced to play more than half of the game with 10 men following Thiago Silva’s red card, but West Brom did a brilliant job of picking their opponents off thereafter. That victory was important too, for it kept the club’s slim survival hopes alive.

A failure to win here would surely condemn West Brom to the drop, but another win would offer Sam Allardyce’s side a glimmer of hope. They would still be eight points adrift of safety with just seven games left to play, but back-to-back victories at this stage of the season can give a struggling team valuable momentum, and Allardyce’s experience of similar situations could come into its own. First, though, West Brom must inflict defeat on Southampton here.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side in effect secured Premier League survival with a 3-2 triumph over Burnley last time out. Southampton went two goals down in that clash, but a spirited fightback saw them register a second win in four games. This has been a turbulent campaign for Saints, but they can now begin to look up towards mid-table rather than over their shoulders at the bottom three.

Will Smallbone and Oriol Romeu will miss the remainder of the season, while Michael Obafemi remains on the treatment table for Southampton. Kyle Walker-Peters requires a late fitness test but could be passed fit for a place on the bench.

West Brom will be unable to call upon the services of Branislav Ivanovic, but Connor Gallagher is available again after being unable to face Chelsea, his parent club. Dara O’Shea is expected to be fit.

Kick-off is at 6pm BST and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a West Brom v Southampton live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jose Mourinho tantrum. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:

ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee

FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!

NordVPN NordLocker

NordVPN with quality mobile and desktop apps

A cheaper option and almost ExpressVPN's equal when it comes to quality, too. A single subscription covers six connections, so you can use it on mobile, laptop, streaming devices and more, all at the same time.

Surfshark Surfshark VPN

Surfshark offers a great VPN at a fraction of the price

It's clear to see why Surfshark is top of TechRadar's best cheap VPN table – it combines an excellent product with bargain pricing, starting at £2/$2.50 a month!
