What you need to know about the eight teams battling for Champions League glory

The route to the Champions League final will be settled on Friday for the eight sides left competing for continental glory.

Seedings and country protection are no more as we enter the quarter-final draw in Nyon, Switzerland, where the semi-finals will also be decided.
