Tyldesley was ITV's lead commentator between 1998 and 2020, until he was succeeded in that role by Sam Matterface. The 68-year-old, who previously worked at BBC Sport and is now at CBS Sports, is back at ITV to commentate on his fifth World Cup.
McCoist is a former Rangers and Scotland striker, who won 10 Scottish Premier League titles at the Ibrox club and scored 19 times in 61 appearances for his country. He also works as a pundit on radio station talkSPORT.
