Jose Mourinho will be hoping to halt Tottenham’s slide down the Premier League standings when his team travel to Wolves on Boxing Day.
Spurs were fighting for top spot at the start of December, but two consecutive defeats, and three games without victory, has seen them plummet to sixth place.
Mourinho’s side were held to a draw at Crystal Palace before suffering damaging defeats against top four rivals Liverpool and Leicester in the space of four days.
However, Spurs are just two points behind the Foxes in second place and will hope to take advantage of Wolves’ own slump.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have lost three of their last four matches, most recently a 2-1 defeat away to Burnley.
Wolves are now 11th, five points behind Tottenham, but have shown their big-game mettle lately with wins over Chelsea and Arsenal in the last month.
The away side came out on top in both of their meetings last season, with Tottenham winning 2-1 at Molineux in December 2019 before Wolves came out on top in a 3-2 thriller in north London in March.
